Located in Stresa – Lake Maggiore – the Regina Palace is a prestigious luxury hotel.
Inaugurated in 1908, the hotel has retained the evocative charm of the fin de siècle neoclassical style and at the same time it offers its guests all the comforts of nowadays.
The Regina Palace has 224 rooms, all furnished with antique furniture and characterized by great attention to details. Free Wi-Fi connection available in the whole building.
The spaces dedicated to corporate events are numerous, comfortable and technologically equipped: 20 meeting rooms with different configurations and dimensions, which are able to accommodate up to 600 people.
For a reinvigorating moment of relax the hotel offers a new wellness area with heated swimming-pool, sauna and Turkish bath. On the top floor there is a Fitness Room with hot tub overlooking the lake. An outdoor swimming-pool, a tennis court and a squash court are also available.
Special care and attention is devoted to the cuisine. Guests can choose between 2 restaurants: the Liberty, member of AIC (Italian Association for Celiac disease) has a suggestive view of the lake and the Isola Bella and it is available to realize customized menus (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, kosher menus); the Charleston, next to the hotel hall, proposes à la carte menus with seasonal dishes and products.
In the surroundings it is possible to visit the Borromean Islands (a small archipelago famous for the seventeeth-century historical buildings and botanic gardens located on the Isola Madre and Isola Bella), Villa Taranto in Verbania (famous for its terraced botanic gardens with floral species from all over the world), the Rocca Borromeo in Angera (defensive castle dating back to Longobardic times with outdoor medieval gardens and the Museum of dolls and toys), Lake Orta (lake in northern Italy, located half-way between Novara and Verbania), Mottarone (mountain situated between Lake Orta and Lake Maggiore), Locarno (charming touristic destination in Switzerland, famous for hosting the International Film Festival every year in August).
