In 2021 we are sorry to say that Miek Egberts passed away.
With 25 years of experience in the Meeting Industry and Hospitality, over 1000 incentive travels, events, weddings, product launches, and conferences, Miek was well known for her own creativity and unique style, very attentive to the clients’ desires and needs.
Miek was Dutch, she studied Business & Administration at Hoge Hotelschool in Maastricht, Netherland, and she was specialized in Marketing and Tourism. She obtained CMP and CMM certificates and was an active member of SITE – Society for Incentive Travel Excellence.
Miek was the CEO of InspireMe MonteCarlo, a boutique consultancy agency in France for exclusive events and high-quality travels.
She has lived in different countries in the Mediterranean Sea: Italy, Portugal, Southern France and the Principality of Monaco. Nowadays she goes back and forth from Monte Carlo (Principality of Monaco) to Italy, in a city with the same name: Montecarlo, in Lucca.
She has always been a committed supporter of green meetings and she wrote or ItaliaConvention an article about the new SEPC certification for green meetings.
We will miss her.
