On Lake Como, great success for the new international event by NEBE dedicated to luxury travel

Travelux, the new event organized by NEBE, was held at the end of March in the beautiful Villa Erba (lake Como). It was organized as a club-event with restricted and just by invitation participation: a successful formula adopted also in the past by NEBE, the Italian agency focused in the b2b promotion of the luxury travel.  At TraveLux there were on stage 90 exhibitors and 110 top buyers.

The 90 exhibitors included starred hotels and resorts, mansions and precious apartments, tourism promotion groups and DMC, coming from Italy, Croatia, Spain, Portugal, Austria, and for the first time, from the USA. Also the region Apulia presented  historical manor farms and beautiful hotels (see Borgobianco as an example) Among the exhibitors the Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni in Bellagio and the Royal Hotel Sanremo in the “Flower Riviera” in Liguria.

The 110 top buyers, chosen among luxury travel agencies (more than 20 of the Virtuoso circuit), wedding and event planners, came from Northern America, Europe, South America, Russia/CIS, Australia and Asia. All of the guests were hosted in the famous and suggestive 5 star luxury hotel Grand Hotel Villa d’Este.

3 days with a rich and busy program in which workshop sessions were alternated with prefixed appointments, networking and relax. Three interesting activities were organized by Mizar to discover the territory: “Ferrari test drive experience”; “In the wake of the Grand Tour”, a boat tour with a stop in Bellagio, and “The path of Como’s Silk”, a tour in Como, at the Silk Museum and a famous factory.

Started with a rich welcoming Aperitivo at Villa Flori, and a dinner hosted in Casta Diva, Travelux Club 2017 ended with an evening event in Tremezzo, with a musical aperitivo, a visit at Villa Sola Cabiati and a dinner party and fireworks at the Grand Hotel Tremezzo.

ItaliaConvention attended as a media partner. In the occasion it presented to the buyers the new website of ItalybyEvents.com, that talk about events in whole Italy, in particular the traditional ones and sometimes only known by few people. A free instrument very useful to propose to the clients a more interesting holiday, appreciated also by the mice buyers because it offers unusual ideas for the post meetings.
