Hilton Molino Stucky has committed to the Hilton Travel with Purpose strategy to cut 50% of the environmental impact by 2030
Hilton Molino Stucky, which offers planners and business managers the hotel with the largest convention center in the Venice area, in recent years has committed to providing sustainability as a further advantage to meeting planners.
Sustainability is a very dear topic to Hilton group. Its Travel with Purpose strategy aims to cut the environmental impact in half while doubling the positive social impact.
The new project is called “Carbon Neutral”.
Thanks to the Event Impact Calculator, which is part of Hilton’s LightStay system, it is possible to calculate and analyze sustainability performance. Thus the hotel may have a precise estimate of the carbon impact produced by each event: energy and water consumption, ance carbon and waste production.
In partnership with the South Pole company, Hilton Molino Stucky Venice is committed to supporting a number of socially valuable projects such as the repair and maintenance of rural water service in Rwanda, the construction of a geothermal power plant in Turkey to generate clean and emission-free energy, and the development and maintenance of wind parks in India and the United States.
