A research conducted by US magazine Meeting & Conventions on 124 event professionals has revealed how 57% of the respondents suffer from melancholia or physical and emotional breakdowns. In short, from depression.
Only 15% of them feel great after an event.
Many respondents provided additional comments, such as: “It’s kind of like being hungover. It takes a few weeks to feel normal again and mentally resume normal life.”
