Grand Hotel Portovenere offers “open air” free-time and networking opportunities visiting sea oyster farms and vineyards.

The 5-star Grand Hotel Portovenere, located in the namesake UNESCO world heritage village, offers planners two unique networking or free-time opportunities in the magnificent Cinque Terre: a boat trip to sea oyster farms in the Gulf of Poets, or a visit to Riomaggiore’s hilly vineyards.

The “marine” program includes a boat excursion to the islands of Palmaria, Tino and Tinetto, as well as a guided tour to oyster farms. To end the tour, happy hour with oysters, focaccia from La Spezia, and white wine from Cinque Terre.
The tour lasts about 4 hours, with every boat accommodating 10 people.

To learn about extreme viticulture, the Grand Hotel offers guided visits to Riomaggiore’s vineyards, located on characteristic terraces overlooking the sea. Following the tour, participants can taste the renowned Sciacchetrà wine, or classic Cinque Terre whites, reds, and rosés.
The tour, for groups of 10 people, lasts 4 hours.

Palmaria Restaurant, managed by executive chef Francesco Parravicini, has a breathtaking terrace that overlooks the sea and also offers gluten-free menus.  Grand Hotel Portovenere is the only hotel with meeting halls in Portovenere.
