Aiming for the future, the 2022 convention of MPI Italian Chapter in Lecce from July 8th to 10th
From July 8th to 10th, 2022 the national meeting industry is invited to gather in Lecce for “MICE for FUTURE”, the 31st Annual Convention of MPI Italian Chapter which is honored to have the patronage of ENIT, the Italian Agency for Tourism.
Training, networking, experiences in the heart of Salento for Italian professional meetings: three days of pure energy, experimentation and new visions to be shared in the land representing hospitality and with a look at psycho-physical well-being, ethics and sustainability.
And the opportunity also to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the international association.
This edition will be held in the Best Western Plus Leone di Messapia Hotel & Conference.
Among the first names in the speakers turnout who will talk on stage of the 9th of July, are mentioned two coaches who will accompany the participants in the acquisition of new awareness: the life coach and work psychologist Monica Bormetti, who will take care of a dedicated session to well-being and work-life balance, and the voice coach Matteo Rinaldi, who will share tips to successfully conduct professional and personal conversations through the coloring of one’s own voice.
This year the Convention welcomes AIIC – Association Internationale des Interprètes de Conférence. The morning session on July 9th will be joint MPI-AIIC with a panel attended by some of the past presidents and board members of various MPI International chapters, an added value for the members of both associations who will benefit from an exchange of ideas and best practices to look to the future of the meeting industry.
Assets of the program of this 31st edition will be a vision for the future with new professions, a focus on your social positioning, tips and tricks to improve one way of speaking to the public and how to apply productive relaxation exercises, games and interactive activities in an innovative Playground, all colored by the wonderful shades of Salento in a very #SalentoExperience.
On the occasion, the new MPI Italian Chapter 2022-2023 Board will be presented, which will officially take office on July 1st.
The program in the Lecce Convention also includes the awarding of two important awards:
CSR Award – MPI Italian Chapter gives great value to eco-sustainability and social responsibility and a new edition of the CSR Award Competition will award a prize to the best project sent by the members of the Italian MPI chapter: the three nominations reaching the final will be evaluated by a jury on the occasion of the gala evening on Saturday.
Student Award – A new award has been designed to give visibility and involve students who want to enter the world of the meeting industry. It is the Student Award that will award a degree thesis on meeting industry related topics and which will be selected by a commission. The author of the awarded thesis will receive a cash prize and membership in the Italian Chapter for one year offered by BeAcademy.
As per tradition, the collaboration of MPI Italian Chapter with MPI Foundation goes on through a fine lottery that will involve all participants.
