Cantine Florio, the ancient wineries where Marsala production started in Sicily, is today both a historic and fascinating venue and a modern conference center.
The wineries’ ancient history makes a meeting really special by including a guided tour in the cellars where the most famous Marsala in the world is still produced.
The guide is explaining the story of Marsala wine and Marsala town.
The visit ends in the Donna Franca room (main photo), where it is possible to have a wine tasting paired with a gastronomic selection from the area.
At the end of the tour, guests can also visit the well-stocked wine shop where they can buy the fine wines of the wineries.
In summer, big events can be also organized in the garden.
And since 2015, the beautiful terrace overlooking the sea is also available for meetings and tastings.
The venue
Built in 1833, Cantine Florio are part of the circuit of Marsala and Sicily’s excellence and welcome every year visitors from all over the world. Cantine Florio offers 6 historic meeting halls (3 of them connected) that can host up to 350 people seated, 300 for the buffet and 500 standing. The wonderful Mediterranean garden may host up to 2,500 people.
