LGBT Meeting Professionals Association

The association, founded in 2016 by David Jefferys, represents the LGBT community in the MICE industry.

The LGBT Meeting Professionals Association, founded in 2016, has grown from 20 to 500 members in 2017 alone.

The group has also recently announced its 2018 Executive Board members:
– Jim Clapes (conference & events manager for the Drug Policy Alliance) will serve as President and Board Chairman;
– James Delmar (national account manager for the Philadelphia Convention & Visitors Bureau) as Executive Board Member;
– Lexi Dinyovszky (President of Southern Comfort Conference’s board of directors) as Executive Board Member;
– David Jefferys (President & CEO of Altus Agency) is the Founder and current Executive Director.

LGBT MPA next meets at the Professional Convention Management Association’s Convening Leaders in Nashville on January 7-10, and at MPI’s World Education Congress in Indianapolis on June 2-5.
