“Let’s meet in Umbria, the Heart of Italy” is the title full of meanings of the 26th convention of MPI I talia Chapter, the most important international association of the meeting industry professionals.
The venue of the 26th yearly Convention of MPI Italia Chapter, from June 30th to July 1st 2017, will be held in Umbria, thank to Umbria Region support, at Tenuta dei Ciclamini in Avigliano Umbro.
The claim “Let’s meet in Umbria, the Heart of Italy” is remembering everybody this beautiful area of Italy that has been involved by the 2016 earthquake. Going there for its 2017 Convention MPI wants to express its solidarity to this wonderful destination.
Daniela and Giulio Mogol, the masters of the house, will welcome the guests of the Convention that will be introduced by MPI Italia’s president, Mauro Bernardini and by the TVice-president of the regional council of Umbria, Fabio Paparelli.
“This Convention is a great opportunity of debate among operators about the best practice of MICE industry – says the president Bernardini – As in our tradition we want to promote the meeting industry by looking at the future and by proposing to Meeting Professionals the best solutions in the events’ planning. But this time we want to attract also the attention on a territory which for landscapes, food, traditions and efficiency, is incomparable to any other place in Italy and in the world”.
Among the topics of the Convention: the destination marketing, the re-branding and the importance of the events’ sustainability. These themes will be discussed in a Talk Show moderated by the business coach Andrea Baldo with the managers of Umbria, Marche and Abruzzo Regions.
Leisure moments with music Teambuilding with the Vocal Coach of CET – Centro Europeo di Toscolano – the school of Mogol, and a Live Concert organized by CET Music and the DJ set.
The MPI “two days” will include an excursion in Valnerina at Bagni di Triponzo at the ancient Roman hot springs that reopened last year.
The Convention has been presented at the stand of MPI International at IMEX in Frankfurt.
MPI Italia Chapter has been founded in 1991, representing the first European Chaptner belonging to the international community of MPI (Meeting Professionals International, founded in Dallas, USA in 1972). The association has now more than 17.000 members divided in 90 Chapters. It represents all the professionals in the the event’s industry: planners, venues and services suppliers, buyers agencies, intermediary companies, institutions, teachers and students. MPI Italia Chapter has been recognized and registered in the list of the Italian Economic Development Ministry. Thus it may deliver professional certificates having legal value in Italy.
