
The 29th Convention of MPI Italian Chapter will take place in Turin from July 3rd to 5th, 2020.
After the 2019 convention in Rome, MPI Italia moves to Northern Italy where the 2020 convention will be hosted in Turin, welcomed by VisitPiemonte, Turismo Torino and Provincia Convention Bureau, in collaboration with Langhe Monferrato Roero Tourist Board.
The MPI convention is both open to members and to all meeting industry professionals interested in staying abreast and discussing the most topical issues in the field.
Marcella Gaspardone, Marketing & Convention Manager of Turin Tourism and Province (Turismo Torino e Provincia) comments the arrival of the MPI Convention: “We are honored that our city, Turin, has been awarded this prestigious Convention involving meeting industry’s professionals. Maddalena Milone, who will officially become the next president of MPI Italia during the July assembly, adds: “The MPI Italia Chapter Convention is a long-awaited moment for the whole community of the meeting industry. MPI Italia Chapter: founded in 1991, it’s the Italian Chapter of the International community MPI (Meeting Professionals International), founded in Dallas, USA, in 1972. The association counts over 17,000 members in 24 countries and 90 chapters. It represents all professionals involved in the meeting and event industry. MPI Italia Chapter has been registered with the Ministry of Economic Development. Thus, it can release certifications that are legally valid in Italy under Law no.4 of 14th January 2013.
