
G20 and BiostatEpi Scientific Association have chosen CastelBrando for their events
Two important international events have taken place this spring at CastelBrando, the ancient castle hosting nowadays a Congress Centre with 6 seventeenth-century meeting rooms and 3 theatres, one of them historic.
In April CastelBrando hosted G20, the internationale forum promoted by the World Health Organization (WHO) It’s mission is to encourage the development of common health policies based on scientific evidence directly engaging governments and international organizations in the analysis of health systems.
In June, BiostatEpi Scientific Organization has once again chosen CastelBrando to host its Summer School on Modern Methods on Biostatistics and Epidemiology promoting advanced courses in medical statistics and epidemiology, and their application in etiology research and public health.
It has been 16 years since CastelBrando has been hosting BiostatEpi.
This year, the Summer School took place from June 12 to 15 and saw over 100 participants among doctors and researchers coming from all over the world.
In 2019 program, Harvard University organized also a workshop dedicated to doctors, public health and technology professionals.
CastelBrando is only 50 minutes away from Venice.
