From May 26th to 28th at Cantine Florio in Marsala the first edition of Street Art Wine Fest.
Street Art Wine Fest arises from the idea of joining two ingredients which are apparently opposing: street art and wine.
The main themes of the festival, organized by Bacchin and Gianna Panicola, are the vine, wine and the life, thus the historical Cantine Florio (Wineries) must absolutely be the ideal venue for such a unique event in Sicily.
The event begins with a live painting by the artists and a meeting with the art critic, Massimiliano Sabbion.
Duing these three days there are performances of street artists like Alessio B, Alessandra Carloni, Krayon, Zero Mentale, Ale Senso.
The event is promoted by the Movimento Turismo del Vino (Wine Touristic Movement).
For the occasion – from Friday May 26th to Sunday May 28th – the Cantine Florio Wineries are open to the public.
The Festival represents a great opportunity to taste the wines of the historical wine cellars of Marsala and for a venue inspection that – during all year – can host meetings rich of charm and history.
Cantine Florio, made of stones buildings, are the ideal venue for unique and unforgettable events. For meetings it has 6 historical rooms, 3 of which are communicating, with the capicity up to 350 seated persons. The rooms, equipped with any hi-tech system, are located between the cellar and the historic building to give the client the opportunity to organize any kind of events and set-up. Large open spaces and possibility of tensile structures for meetings over 1,000 people.
